Alanine, glutamic acid and lysine in tussah silk can produce a large amount of lysozyme, which has the functions of inhibition and sterilization. The acid and metal ions in silk fibroin can prevent the synthesis of microbial enzymes during the sustained release process, and also play a bacteriostatic role.The tussah silk is carbonized immediately after burning, and it is not easy to produce an open flame. Tussah silk has high nitrogen content and low carbon content, which also plays a flame retardant role. It will burn when the temperature reaches a high temperature of 280 degrees.
